Gratitude Is the Heart's Memory

We spend a lifetime thinking about what we didn't get, what we could've done, where we could've been, what somebody didn't do for us, and thereby harshly discount all the things in life, whether big or small, which we should be grateful for. A timeless lesson taught by a dear friend; be grateful for even the smallest things in life, you'll never know what they're worth until you lose them. Think about it, look around you and find a reason to be grateful to someone or something that's a part of your life. Do it today, do it now, while you still have the chance.

Enjoy The Hot Chocolate

I was preparing for a huge presentation today when I came across something that really got me thinking something; do we attach more meaning to the props that support our life, more than life itself?
Check out the link and share what you guys think.

The IBA Life...I Have NO Absences Left!

I'm not a chronic whiner but face the risk of becoming one because IBA tends to do that to you. You know what's the most threatening thing to most of us here? Grades? No. Teachers? Far from it! Reports? How about you take another guess? ting ting ting...ABSENCES! exceed the number of four these absences in any course and you will be asked to approach the rectangle with a knob...sometimes politely, sometimes sincerely and at others plain ruthlessly, but asked you will be just the same. On any normal day, that will be an escape, a sweet escape to HAVING A LIFE, but not on this day. On this day you'd rather just sit in one corner of the class instead of taking that walk of shame. It's funny how more than half of us have absences not because we're absent from class but because we're late. Perfectly justified. BUT there's a third possibility too, that has only recently sprouted...that's if you've allegedly been caught talking. Don't snicker. I'm not kidding. Happens. All those exposed to similar circumstances say I :P
Having said all of this I would like to make a special mention of how without IBA my life would be incomplete. In these two years I've seen the world from a different pair of eyes and I'm glad to be where I am, surrounded by people I love. I told you I wasn't emo? Right then.
Share your experiences too :)

Welcome Aboard Amigos!

For those of you wondering what the description meant, it's a song...Secrets by One Republic. Do not get me wrong I'm not an attention-starved emo :P just an ordinary girl with stories to share and this Blog is going to be just that-a sweet escape for all those looking for one (My being a business student isn't synonomous to my being a bum :P).  Share your views and comments and let's build a haven where each one of us can say and be heard, without being judged!
The song in the description also helped me clear the writer's block, thought I'd share the link with you guys. Happy Reading!
